What happened in the meeting between India and Tibet and the American delegation?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started his third term by giving a hidden message to his neighboring country China. India held a high-level meeting with the US delegation in Tibet. In which many senior officers of the American government had come. This delegation went to Dharamshala and met the Dalai Lama. The purpose of the meeting was to express support for Tibetans. America’s House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was also in that delegation. Who took a dig at Chinese President Xi Jinping. He said that history remembers the Dalai Lama
What work are big democracies like America, European countries, and Australia doing on this?
In February this year also, the American Congress passed a new bill, in which it was said that China should start talks again with the Tibetan authorities. It is true that this law will not make any difference to China. But America’s priority is that it wants to surround China. Many democratic countries including the European Union and Australia are also working on this issue. New Delhi is in a good situation compared to other countries. After all, India is the home of the Tibetan movement. Dalai Lama also lives here and in Tibet

India can help Tibet from behind but from the front…
To understand this problem we have to understand India’s history with Tibet. Tibet was a separate country, which acted as a buffer state between India and China. In 1950, China sent troops to Tibet captured the entire area, and made it a part of China. Suddenly our border with Tibet became the border with China. In 1954, New Delhi recognized China’s move and accepted that Tibet is a part of China. Because Dalai Lama came to India in 1959 when Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the chieftain.
Even if Tibet is a small pawn, it can open huge doors for India.
Now India is in a dual situation. While on the one hand, it accepts China’s occupation of Tibet, on the other hand, it also gives shelter to the exiled Tibetan government. This may seem like a difficult situation but it also has an advantage. New Delhi can use Tibet to maintain pressure on China. Think of the American delegation, which could not have undertaken this journey without India’s help. Now the question is, what should India do in this unique situation?

India has also weakened China on the Taiwan issue.
China knows only the language of power. China has also made claims on Indian territory. Therefore, India should put pressure on China. Even on the Taiwan issue, India has gradually weakened its One-China policy. The President of Taiwan congratulated Modi on his third term and Vada Pradhan also thanked him by replying to him. Now that Taiwan’s policy can be weak, why not Tibet’s policy?
