After a lot of hard work with Indonesian opponent Tunjung Gregoria Mariska, Korea’s An Se-young secured her space with scoring 2-1 in Women’s Singles Final at Paris Olympic 2024.
Tunjung was leading in early game with scoring 21-11, she was smashing towards An, and making her to take multiple dives for her defence. But in after sessions An came in action with her quick and forceful moves made Tunjung very hard to score in Second and Third game following 21-13 and 21-16.

Apparently Korea hasn’t won any gold medal in women’s singles badminton since 1996 in Olympics, So, An Se-young has set her goal to win the gold for Korea and make her nation proud on her. An is world no 1 champion in women’s singles badminton since 1 August 2023. She has won 304 wins and 64 losses in her career.
